Point Valaine

Location: Chichester

Date: 1992

Point Valaine is a beautiful play by Coward from his late-middle period. At the Minerva Theatre in Chichester, I was lucky to work with the great Sara Kestleman on this piece.

Jack Klaff and Edward Petherbridge also starred in a play that suited the intimate space of the Minerva perfectly. Edward, in particular, made a great success and was perfectly cast in the role of the fastidious English writer out of his emotional depth in the Tropics.

Stylishly directed by the remarkable Tim Luscombe
