Directing Hair for the 3rd year students at the Guildford School of Acting was a blast. I’ve never tackled such an anarchic piece, but it’s one with an unbelievable amount of open heartedness and good intentions..

The script was compiled through improvisation fifty years ago and the text that exists today has been edited and rearranged so many times that it makes very little sense. Recreating, rearranging and revivifying the story and telling it through the character of Claude was a wonderful experience, and we all fell in love with the show as we headed toward opening.
